ประเทศฝรั่งเศสโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมมหกรรมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติอย่างสม่ำเสมอมาตลอดเกือบ 15 ปีที่ผ่านมา โดยในปี 2566 นี้จะเข้าร่วมเป็นครั้งที่ 13 ซึ่งองค์การพิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ (อพวช.) กระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ร่วมกับเครือข่ายหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน ทั้งในและต่างประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องจัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “For Bright and Creative Generations” ส่งเสริมการเกิดความคิดสร้างสรรค์ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ผสานกับศิลปะในมุมของการขับเคลื่อน พัฒนา เศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ ตามแนวทางพระราชดำริ ปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง และโมเดลเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ-เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน-เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (Bio-Circular-Green Economy : BCG Model)
มหกรรมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ เป็นกิจกรรมทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของปี จัดขึ้นในโอกาสวันวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ซึ่งตรงกับวันที่ 18 สิงหาคม ของทุกปี เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว “พระราชบิดาแห่งวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย” และเพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร “พระบิดาแห่งเทคโนโลยีของไทย” และ “พระบิดาแห่งนวัตกรรมไทย” รวมทั้งเพื่อเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัยและพัฒนา ความก้าวหน้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม จากภาครัฐและเอกชน ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ตลอดจนส่งเสริมความรู้ ความเข้าใจด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี งานวิจัย และการอุดมศึกษา ด้านอาชีพด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ แก่เยาวชนและประชาชนทั่วไป โดยในปี 2565 มีผู้เข้าชมงานกว่า 300,000 คน
สำหรับมหกรรมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติประจำปี 2566 นี้ ประเทศฝรั่งเศสโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทยจะจัดบูธฝรั่งเศส (French Pavilion) ขนาด กว้าง 9 เมตร ยาว 10 เมตร ภายใต้แนวคิดครอบคลุม 4 กลุ่มหลัก ได้แก่ 1. อากาศและอวกาศ 2. สิ่งแวดล้อม 3. สุขภาพและสุขภาวะความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี และ 4. อุตสาหกรรมวัฒนธรรมและสร้างสรรค์ อันเป็นแนวคิดของ “ปีแห่งนวัตกรรมฝรั่งเศส-ไทย 2023” (France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023) ซึ่งเป็นความริเริ่มร่วมกันระหว่างฝรั่งเศสกับไทยตามการดำเนินการตามแผนการ (Roadmap) สำหรับการดำเนินความสัมพันธ์ฝรั่งเศส-ไทย (ค.ศ. 2022-2024) โดยจะมีองค์กรและหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนของฝรั่งเศสเข้าร่วมออกบูธ ได้แก่ Airbus, Decathlon, Flylab, Michelin, AFD, Campus France, CIRAD, EFEO และ IRD ทั้งนี้ บูธฝรั่งเศสจะเน้นนำเสนอแนวคิดเรื่องความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อมผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับแนวคิดหลักของมหกรรมวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติประจำปีนี้
งานจะเปิดให้ประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าชมระหว่างวันที่ 11-20 สิงหาคม 2566 เวลา 9.00-19.00 น. ณ อาคาร 9-11 ศูนย์แสดงสินค้าและการประชุม อิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานี จังหวัดนนทบุรี

France will participate in Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2023
For nearly 15 years, France, through the Embassy of France in Thailand, is a regular guest at the National Science and Technology Fair (NST Fair). In 2023, France will participate in this event for the 13th time. Organized by the National Science Museum (NSM), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with concerned Thai and foreign agencies from public and private sectors, the NST Fair 2023 comes under the theme “For Bright and Creative Generations”, to encourage the scientific, technological and innovative creativities combining with the arts under the outlook of driving and developing the creative economy according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama IX) and Bio-Circular-Green Economic Model (BCG).
NST Fair is Thailand’s biggest annual event in science, technology and innovation. It is held on the occasion of “Thai National Science Day” which takes place every year on August 18, to honor King Rama IV as the “Father of Thai Science” and King Rama IX as the “Father of Thai Technology” and the “Father of Thai Innovation”, and to publicize research and development projects and showcase the advance in science, technology and innovation by Thai and foreign agencies from public and private sectors. The event aims also to promote the knowledge and understanding about science, technology, research studies, higher education and scientific occupations for youth and general public. In 2022, the event welcomed more than 300,000 visitors.
For the 2023 edition, France, through the Embassy of France in Thailand, will organize a French Pavilion in a 9m-by-10m rectangular space featuring the 4 main themes of France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023 (France-Thailand joint initiative in line with the implementation of Roadmap for Thai-French Relations (2022-2024)): Air and space; Environment; Health and well-being; Creative and cultural industries; with the participation of French companies and operators, including Airbus, Dassault Systèmes, Decathlon, Flylab, Michelin, AFD, Campus France, CIRAD, EFEO and IRD. To be related with the NST Fair’s main theme, the French Pavilion will be dedicated to the theme of biodiversity and environment, which will be remarkable by the graphic identity and the innovative activities provided by our partners.
This event will be opened for general public from 11-20 August 2023 from 9.00-19 hrs. at Hall 9-11, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.
