On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump’s campaign team lodged a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), contesting the transfer of funds from President Joe Biden’s campaign coffers to Vice President Kamala Harris.
David Warrington, general counsel for the Trump campaign, alleged that the transfer constitutes “an excessive contribution of $91.5 million” and could potentially be the most significant violation of campaign finance law in history.
The Harris camp rebuffed these accusations, dismissing them as merely an attempt to sow chaos. They emphasized their ability to raise $100 million within the first 36 hours of their fundraising efforts.
