“Night has just fallen, bringing with it infinite peace. Avenue Montaigne is far away; it is at the end of the world.“ Christian Dior*
Beneath the starry skies of Montauroux, the gardens of the château de la Colle Noire – a haven of peace cherished by Monsieur Dior – provides the perfect setting for the precious creations envisioned by Victoire de Castellane for her new haute joaillerie collection, Diorexquis.
This marvelous backdrop is an irresistible tribute to the inspirations behind these necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets: enchanting landscapes, delicate bouquets, and magical balls. A dazzling triptych that tells, through fabulous tableaus, the love Christian Dior cultivated for the beauty of the plant world and his fascination with the splendors of exceptional festivities.
Featuring a bold interplay of volumes and layered gemstones – finely carved against hard stone backgrounds hemmed with diamonds – the designs unfold like extraordinary tales, sublimating nature and its transformations. The passage of time and the rhythm of the seasons are reflected in a vibrant palette that comes to life through a multitude of shimmering gems, along with the exquisite craftsmanship of the artisans, exemplified by opal doublets and plique-à-jour enamelwork.
These outstanding pieces are further enhanced by the haute couture silhouettes conceived by Maria Grazia Chiuri. A moment of grace followed by a sumptuous fireworks display, highlighting this alchemical dialogue, the embodiment of the House’s virtuoso savoir-faire.
