LAURENT LAFITTE, TRAMELL TILLMAN, MICHEAL WARD, DIALA MAKKI, ALEXANDER JOHNSON AND BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH ATTENDED THE 2025 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL WEARING JAEGER-LECOULTRE

CANNES, FRANCE: Laurent Lafitte, Tramell Tillman, Micheal Ward, Diala Makki, Alexander Johnson and Benedict Cumberbatch attended the first week of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival donning Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces.

On Monday, May 12, Laurent Lafitte chose to wear the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in pink gold (750/1000) during a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival.

Underlining the exceptional versatility of the Reverso’s Art Deco design, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents a new interpretation of the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds with a Milanese link bracelet and a 18k pink gold (750/1000) case. This timepiece exudes vintage glamour and confident modernity – an eloquent expression of the Reverso’s stylistic evolution that began with the unveiling of the first Reverso more than 90 years ago.

Powered by the hand-wound Calibre 822, the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds redefines elegance with its seamless blend of historical significance and contemporary sophistication, reaffirming its status as a timeless icon.

On Tuesday, May 13, Laurent Lafitte was rocking the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in pink gold (750/1000) at the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival where he was master of ceremony.

With its ultra-thin 7.56 mm case, this timepiece preserves the aesthetic codes of the original 1931 edition while enhancing the Art Deco spirit through its polished pink gold case and applied indexes. A bold tribute to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s avant-garde vision, the black dial – described in the Spécialités Horlogères catalog as “the dial of the future” – showcases exceptional legibility and dynamic depth, reviving the pioneering spirit that made the Maison a leader in innovation.

Jaeger-LeCoultre will continue to collaborate with Laurent Lafitte throughout the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Tramell Tillman made a sophisticated statement by wearing Jaeger-Lecoultre at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

The actor chose to wear the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in pink gold (750/1000) during his photocall for the film “Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning”

In its rose gold case, the Reverso Tribute Monoface ‘Or Deco’ watch displays a decidedly vintage look. On either side of the gold dial,  its bracelet is characterized by a gold mesh that gives the watch a refined and precious style. On the wrist, wearing it is comfortable and perfectly adjusted. The thinness of the bracelet matches that of the case and its 41 components.

The hand-wound Manufacture Calibre 822 indicates the hour, minute and small seconds and promises a 42-hour power reserve.

Later in the evening, Tramell Tillman was rocking the Reverso Tribute Chronograph in pink gold (750/1000) on the red carpet.

The Reverso Tribute Chronograph, features an hour-minute display on its two dials with contrasting and complementary styles. The front dial displays the aesthetic codes of the Tribute line: gadroons, “railroad” minute track, applied hour-markers and Dauphine hands stand out against the sunray black dial.

Once turned over on its cradle, the watch reveals a meticulously crafted open-worked reverse that unveils every detail of the Manufacture Calibre 860 and the formidable mechanics of the retrograde chronograph.

On Friday, May 16, for the release of the movie Eddington by Ari Aster at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Micheal Ward opted for the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds pink gold (750/1000).

The Reverso Tribute Small Seconds features a gold-colored dial with a finely grained texture achieved through multiple stamping operations. Contrasting with the dial’s matte finish, the polished hour markers are individually hand-applied and aligned as closely as possible to the track.

When the case is turned over, the gold back enhances the jewelry look of the watch.

During the evening, Michael Ward, still accompanied by the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds, attended the after-party for Eddington presented by Patrón El Alto at Lucia Cannes by Nikki Beach.

On Friday, May 16, Jaeger-LeCoultre also had the pleasure of dressing Alexander Johnson with the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds in pink gold (750/1000), to mark the release of the movie The Chronology of Water at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

Following the Art Deco-inspired aesthetic codes of the first Reverso from 1931, the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds puts reversible time in the spotlight.

In a newly redesigned pink gold case, a silver dial – closely recalling the silver dial of the first-generation Reverso – is a discreetly elegant foil for the rich golden glow of the metal.

On Sunday, May 18, on the occasion of the launch of Wes Anderson’s film The Phoenician Scheme, Diala Makki opted for the Reverso One Precious Flowers in pink gold (750/1000).

The Reverso One Precious Flowers is the perfect expression of the Maison’s watchmaking and Metiers Rares expertise. Following the shape of the wrist thanks to its thinner and more elongated proportions, this diamond-embellished enamel timepiece asserts its strong visual identity.

The case houses a white mother-of-pearl dial enhanced by 12 Arabic numerals framed by the collection’s signature 4 Art Deco angles. On the back, the decoration is created on three levels: The arum flowers are made of Grand Feu Champlevé enamel.

On Sunday, May 18, Benedict Cumberbatch opted for the Master Ultra Thin Date celebrating the The Phoenician Scheme red carpet.

With clean lines, polished surfaces and long, curved lugs, the understated design of the timepiece is a timeless and sophisticated expression of modernity.

The dial design is a finely judged exercise in symmetry and balance. Anchored by the date display at 6 o’clock, it is highly legible and perfectly integrated in every detail. The shape of the elongated trapezoid indexes is echoed by the Dauphine hands, on which one facet is satin-brushed and the other polished, to create a visually intriguing play of light from different angles.
