of this year’s Met Gala.

Guests in attendance included: Pharrell and Helen Williams, Future, Zendaya, Callum Turner, Lisa, Pusha-T, Jeremy Allen White, Doechii, Malcolm Washington, Sabrina Carpenter and Henry Taylor.

PHARRELL WILLIAMS

Pharrell Williams wears Louis Vuitton to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of a double-breasted, cropped evening jacket hand-crafted entirely in interlaced white pearls in two different sizes creating a pinstriped effect, and flared trousers tailored in fine black wool. The suit is worn with a white sea island cotton shirt and a black silk tie. The look is paired with LV Jazz derbies in supple black leather and a Speedy P9 Bandoulière 20 evening bag in burgundy crocodile leather with an aged gold Millionaire chain.
The silhouette epitomises the dandy vision at the heart of the Men’s Creative Director’s practice at Louis Vuitton. Illustrating the artisanal excellence of the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme and its atelier, the jacket is hand-crafted entirely in latticed strings of pearls. Since Pharrell Williams’ debut collection for Louis Vuitton for Spring-Summer 2024, the adornment of pearls has served as a symbol of the LVERS ideology that inspires the Men’s Creative Director at the House: the notion of refined attire as a transformative tool for the self-enhancement likewise embedded within the philosophy of Black dandyism. Evoking the cloth quintessential to superfine tailoring, the texture of a pinstripe is conjured in the interlacing of pearls in different sizes, while the cropped jacket and flared trousers illustrate the signature silhouette practiced by Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton. As a preview of the Spring-Summer 2026 Men’s Collection, the Men’s Creative Director wears the new LV Jazz derbies constructed in butter-soft black leather with a flat dandy toe and identical left and right sole outlines. Conceived for the event, a Bandoulière 20 evening bag dimension of the Speedy P9 – the signature bag of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Collections – is hand-crafted in burgundy crocodile leather with an aged gold Millionaire chain.

FUTURE

Future wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of a tailored track jacket and matching pleated, flared trousers in textured bouclé wool woven in a grey Prince of Wales jacquard with burgundy highlights and adorned all-over with hand-embroidered crystals and red beads. The tracksuit is worn with a white cotton shirt, a black silk tie, black leather driving gloves, and black LV Clash sunglasses.
The look is paired with LV ButterSoft Foot Sneakers in black crocodile leather and a Speedy P9 Bandoulière 40 bag in black supple leather hand-embroidered with black pearls and crystals.
Created for Future by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the ensemble exemplifies the dialogue between tailoring, workwear and sportswear instinctive to present-day dandyism by splicing the tracksuit emblematic of streetwear culture with the Prince of Wales cloth traditionally used in heritage suiting. Key to the practice of Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton, the cross-pollination of cultural and subcultural dress codes creates an expression at once equalising and empowering within both domains of dandy dressing. The dandy-esque impact of the suit is enhanced with painstaking all-over hand-embroidered crystals and beads, while the zip puller of the jacket is bejewelled with a pearl pendant. Conceived for the event, a Bandoulière 40 special edition of the Speedy P9 – the signature bag of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Collections – appears in in black supple leather with a hand-embroidered black pearl and crystal Monogram and a black metal chain.

ZENDAYA

Zendaya wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of a single-breasted tuxedo with flared trousers woven in white matte silk and radzimir, and a matching waistcoat. It is worn over a white silk dress shirt and a white silk wide necktie. The look is paired with a wide-brimmed floppy white felt hat.
Created for Zendaya by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the tailleur echoes the superfine spirit of Black dandyism and its zoot suits in the statuesque female adaptation of classic men’s tailoring in the 1980s, the era’s notion of power-dressing, and the suit-centric fashion photography that captured it. The hat reimagines the fedoras worn with men’s suits by Black female artists who trailblazed the rhythm-and-blues fusion with rock ‘n’ roll in the 1970s.

CALLUM TURNER

Callum Turner wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The silhouette is composed of a double-breasted blazer in textured jacquard, and flared trousers in black wool. The suit is worn with a pearl-coloured silk moiré dress shirt and a pearl-coloured cravat hand-embroidered with fine transparent beads and crystal elements in the pattern of the Louis Vuitton Damier chequers. The look is paired with pearl-studded LV Oxford brogues in black leather.
Created for Callum Turner by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the suit evokes the tailoring worn by the dandies of the Jazz Age through the artisanal looking glass of the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme and its atelier. Cut in the signature silhouette carved out by Pharrell Williams at the House the jacket balanced by flared trousers.

LISA

Lisa wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of a men’s blazer transformed into a boned basque jacket layered over a corseted body, with Monogram tights. The jacket is crafted in black lace encrustation rendering an artwork by the artist Henry Taylor overlaid with the Louis Vuitton Flower Monogram and hand-embellished with crystals. The body is crafted in tulle in the same motif. The look is paired with a Speedy P9 Bandoulière 20 evening bag in black supple leather adorned with hand-encrusted pearl Monogram and a chain of pearls.
Created for Lisa by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the tailleur stages an exchange between the tailoring tradition at the heart of dandy dressing and the corseterie and delicate lacework native to haute couture. Executed to precision through the savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton’s Men’s atelier, the lace replicates elements of an artwork by the American artist Henry Taylor depicting portraits of figures who have been a part of the artist’s life. The motif was originally created for Pharrell Williams’ Spring-Summer 2024 debut collection for the House by Henry Taylor, who also painted the portrait of the Men’s Creative Director for the May 2025 cover of American Vogue. The artwork likewise features in a Louis Vuitton look worn by the artist to the 2025 Met Gala. Conceived for the event, a Bandoulière 20 evening bag dimension of the Speedy P9 – the signature bag of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Collections – materialises in leather and crystals with a chain of the pearls emblematic to the dandy vision practiced by Pharrell Williams at the House.

PUSHA-T

Pusha-T wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke suit is composed of a double-breasted blazer and matching flared trousers tailored in burgundy pinstriped wool jacquard woven in a relief texture. The shoulder panel of the jacket is hand-embroidered with fading crystals, while the buttons are encrusted with pearls. It is worn over a white poplin dress shirt with a burgundy textured silk necktie. The look is paired with metal-studded LV Oxford brogues in black leather.
Created for Pusha-T by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the silhouette celebrates the pinstriped suit as an emblem of the wardrobe of the Black dandy and intensifies its classic appearance through artisanal enrichment. Employing the savoir-faire of the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme and its atelier, the pinstripe is augmented through a relief in the surface of the cloth, essentially elevating its natural impact from jacquard to surface decoration. Lionising the expression, the shoulder panel of the jacket is meticulously hand-embroidered with crystals in a raindrop-like dégradé; an illustration of the adornment Pharrell Williams affectionately refers to as “toppings”.

JEREMY ALLEN WHITE

Jeremy Allen White wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke three-piece suit is composed of a single-breasted jacket with a waistcoat and flared trousers woven in fine pinstriped wool jacquard. It is worn over a shirt in white sea island cotton and a black silk necktie. The look is paired with LV Varenne boots in black leather.
Created for Jeremy Allen White by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the ensemble pays homage to the pinstriped suit as the emblematic pattern of classic twentieth-century dandy dressing through the signature sculpted and flared silhouette of Pharrell Williams. Initially worn by bankers in late nineteenth-century England, the pinstriped suit was adopted by America during the Jazz Age and Prohibition era and became a multi-faceted symbol of empowerment across subcultural domains. Exercising the expert tailoring of the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme and its atelier, the look serves as an illustration of the impact of adornment achieved in simplified form: a quintessential dandy expression stripped of embellishment, bar the pearl-encrusted jacket and cuff buttons signature to the practice of Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton.

DOECHII

Doechii wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of a tailcoat and a matching waistcoat worn over a white poplin dress shirt with shorts. The tailcoat and waistcoat feature pearl-encrusted buttons and are tailored in fine wool inscribed with the Louis Vuitton Monogram in light grey blue, while the collar of the tailcoat and the shorts are crafted in the same material inscribed with the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur. The ensemble is worn with burgundy silk socks and a burgundy silk bow. The look is paired burgundy leather LV Checker Mary-Jane shoes and a Speedy P9 Bandoulière 10 edition in supple leather hand-embroidered with miniature beads in the Damier Azur pattern.
Created for Doechii by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the tailleur is inspired by the eighteenth-century wardrobe of the Afro-Caribbean fencing master Julius Soubise, a Black dandy in high-society Georgian England renowned for his foppish style. Echoing in modern garments the courtly habit à la Française favoured by Julius Soubise, the men’s frock, poet shirt, breeches, jabot and stockings of the Rococo period transform into a modern tailcoat, dress shirt, shorts, bow and socks. With their light blue grain de riz, the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur chequers emblazon the shorts, replacing the droguet patterns that typically adorned eighteenth-century men’s dress, while its nuance is adapted into a Louis Vuitton Monogram in light grey blue motif that embellishes the tailcoat and waistcoat. Finally, a pair of Mary-Janes set on chunky performance soles stand in for the court shoes of Julius Soubise. Conceived for the event, a Bandoulière 10 evening bag dimension of the Speedy P9 – the signature bag of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Collections – materialises in the Damier Azur pattern realised through an all-over meticulous hand-embroidery of pearlescent micro beads, with ruthenium metal handles.

MALCOLM WASHINGTON

Malcolm Washington wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke tuxedo is composed of a double-breasted smoking jacket and flared trousers tailored in black Italian wool. The jacket features satin lapels and pearl-encrusted buttons. It is worn over a white sea island poplin dress shirt with a black silk necktie. The look is paired with LV Bubble loafers in black leather.
Created for Malcolm Washington by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the silhouette reimagines the classic tuxedo through the lens of the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme and its atelier. With its flared line and pearl-encrusted buttons, the tuxedo is imbued with the dandy vision distinct to Pharrell Williams’ practice at the House. Entrenched in the European-American exchange intrinsic to Black dandyism, the tuxedo was invented by British tailors in the nineteenth century while its proliferation is owed to high society America, who popularised it in the early twentieth century amid the dawn of the Jazz Age. Traditionally styled with dress shoes, the tuxedo is worn with the LV Bubble loafers. Malcolm Washington wears Destiny brooch set with a 1.78-carat LV Monogram Star cut diamond and diamonds from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry Spirit collection.

SABRINA CARPENTER

Sabrina Carpenter wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of a tailcoat elongated into a train tailored in relief pin-striped burgundy wool jacquard with crystal buttons, and a corseted body structured in the same cloth. It is worn with a white, high starched shirt collar. The look is paired with a hard-sided Mini Trunk evening bag in burgundy leather with hand-embroidered crystal pinstripes.
Created for Sabrina Carpenter by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the tailleur transforms the dandy tailcoat into a piano jacket with elongated tails, evoking the stage suits of twentieth-century showmen. Employing the sartorial expertise of the Louis Vuitton Men’s atelier, the body fuses the fine tailoring tradition of London’s Savile Row with the corseterie of Parisian haute couture. Enhanced in relief form, the pinstripes pay homage to the emblematic suit of the Jazz Age dandy. The detached starched collar nods at the shirting assemblage of the dandy dressing ritual, while its amplified height pays homage to the princely wardrobes of 1980s’ rock legends. Conceived for the event, a special-edition hard-sided Mini Trunk mirrors the pinstripes of the dandy wardrobe in the classic Louis Vuitton luggage silhouette.

HENRY TAYLOR

Henry Taylor wears Louis Vuitton by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to the 2025 Met Gala. The bespoke silhouette is composed of an over-shirt tailored in a Prince of Wales wool jacquard, and black double- pleated wool trousers. It is worn with a white poplin shirt hand-embroidered with an artwork by Henry Taylor and hand-encrusted with pearl elements, and a trilby hat crafted in the same fabric as the jacket. The look is paired with LV Bubble loafers in black leather and a Speedy P9 Bandoulière 20 evening bag in brown supple leather hand-embroidered with Henry Taylor’s artwork and accented with VVN trimmings and an aged-gold metal chain.
Created for Henry Taylor by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the silhouette pays tribute to the influence of the American artist. Executed to precision through the savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton’s Men’s atelier, the hand- embroidery featured on the shirt and bag is an artwork by Henry Taylor depicting portraits of figures who have been a part of the artist’s life. The motif was originally created for Pharrell Williams’ Spring-Summer 2024 debut collection for the House by Henry Taylor. Cut in Prince of Wales wool jacquard, the over-shirt illustrates the exchange of codes between workwear and tailoring central to the present-day dandyism reflected in the practice of Pharrell Williams. Conceived for the event, a Bandoulière 20 evening bag dimension of the Speedy P9 – the signature bag of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Collections – materialises in brown supple leather hand-embroidered with Henry Taylor’s artwork. The same motif features in lace in the Louis Vuitton look worn by Lisa to the 2025 Met Gala. Henry Taylor also painted the portrait of Pharrell Williams for the May 2025 cover of American Vogue.
